The dtraCorp Simpsons Web Database

Welcome to the dtraCorp Simpsons database web site, as an avid fan of the show I felt once I was able to produce a dynamic web site that I should put a Simpsons database online, so here it is. I know I need to make improvements to the search engine, which currently will only search using "OR" if multiple words are entered. Other than that, there is no other functionality that I will likely implement. On the cosmetic side, I'll be looking at adding a picture for each episode, or a short Flash video for the better parts; I've got the VIVO working, but I'm going to to have to find a VCR that can play LP, because the spare one I have won't do it, and most of my tapes are in LP.
I have made a relatively basic Content Management System (CMS) to update the data, it is very much designed for this web site, at the moment I don't think I will be able to make a web application that allows for web formatting as well (all in due time, I hope).

As you can see to the lower left, this site does validate to W3C standards XHTML 1.1 and CSS 2, which I am quite proud of, I tried to make it look as similar as possible to each other in different browsers, but IE doesn't look anywhere near as fluid as Mozilla.
I know that a 1280x1024 screen resolution isn't hugely common at the moment, but nonetheless, this site is for me personally, so that's what it is designed for.

I think that the official Simpsons web site is not very good, that is partly why I decided to take it upon myself to create a site for myself that would not only allow me to keep track of the episodes that I have, but also allow me to easily remember a particular episode.

As this is my first attempt at producing a dynamic data-driven site, please forgive any errors you may get. The database contains details such as episode titles, summaries, guest voices, etc. So just click on one of the links below or above to look through the site.
