Moments before the first pitch, Ravi implored Ryan not to “nickel and dime” him, to which Ryan responded, “You know I will.”

Biz and Ryan did just that and then some in the last regular season game of 2005 against Ravi and Tepper. Despite no hit greater than a double, this game produced several ignominious modern-era records, including most runs allowed (46), greatest margin of defeat (46-1), shortest game (four innings), most walks by one batter (16 for Ryan), and most RBI by a non-official (25 by Biz).

In the fourth, Ryan was traded for Ravi for purposes of mopup pitching duty and Ravi, declaring, “I want this game to over” [sic], finally got his wish.
