Auron is a character from the video game Final Fantasy X.

Although he's all cgi, he has managed to capture the hearts of many a girl who loves his gruff manner, badass attitude, and unique outfit. A bonus would be his mysterious past that a gameplayer would be able to unlock with the various Jecht Spheres scattered over Spira.

Auron himself is 35 years old with black combed back hair with white and grey streaks.He also has a ponytail that is tucked into his collar. Usually he is shown with some stubble, a most required characteristic for our rugged character.

Auron wears a long red coat with a white border. He usually rests his left arm in his sleeve like a sling, and had the other one in the sleeve. The sleeves have a thing bluish-purple hem on them, as well as two belts that are used to secure it to his arm. Auron’s right hand is covered with a black glove made with a tough-looking material. On that arm is a silver bracer made up of three plates. This is attached to his wrist area with another, smaller belt. On Auron’s left shoulder, there is a sandy colored armor type of ornament with a yellow line decoration. Possible for protection, although the purpose of this object is unknown. Auron also has a bead ornament hanging from the back of this object. It is similar to Yuna’s hair beads in FFX.

Although Auron’s other arm is held inside the sleeve, he does take it out during battles. He also wears a bracer on this arm, although it is a different type and in the game, you will be able to equip him with a variety of them. These bracers are mostly flat and do not have belts, unlike the one on the other arm.

The long red coat is not a hindrance to his movement because it is kept close to him by a large ornamental looking belt around his waist. It is a light green color with a surrounding part that is two shades of blue. The belt is kept there by two additional brown ones.

Attached to the large belt by a string of blue and yellow beads is a tokkuri, his sake ‘bottle’. It is a white-ish color with lines going around it (from a potter’s hands). It is sealed by a large cork.

Auron hides most of his face with a large collar that is a grayish color with little belts on them. He also wears a pair of oval sunglasses with dark blue-grey lens and silver rims. These sunglasses are unique because of a decoration on the side where the ‘joint fixture’ is. The shape of the decoration is much like a fancy sort of trident.

Underneath it all, he wears a sleeveless black leather ‘shirt’ (for lack of a better term). Contrary to popular belief, it is not armor, although it is convenient to refer to it as that. It has a yellow line down the middle that splits at around the end of his ribs. Auron also has pants (duh), much like a cooler version of sweatpants. There is a slight discrepancy in color as a few of the cgi pictures show that he has black pants, others show that they are a much lighter grey. For simplicity purposes, I will say that they are a dark grey with a white stripe on the outside of each pant leg.

Auron also wears boots, rather large looking ones that are mostly black, but have a metal plate ontop. They also have a yellow spot closer to the top.
