MISSION STATEMENT
The mission for the South Arlington Eagles Football program
is to enhance our community and its children through the
proper development and training of our young players. We wish
to provide a safe and positive supportive atmosphere for every
player in the organization and to teach the players to over
come life challenges. We attempt to do this by helping the players
develop social skills, discipline, leadership skills and building
confidence within ones self. Our final goal is to make sure
that every player has FUN. With this in mind we will achieve
a high caliber youth football program for everyone.

TAKING
FLIGHT 2001 A TRADITION BEGAINS
The
2001 inaugural season on the South Arlington Eagles was a year
of development, discipline and victory. With not knowing what
to expect from on another and having never played the game of
football the Eagles finished the season with shocking results.
·
The Flag team lead by Coach Hargis, finished the season with the
Invitational Bowl Championship versus the Red Oak Hawk
· The C-division and Coach Small, finished the season in
the Invitational Bowl as runner-up, after a last minute score
by the C.H. Saints.
· The B-division and Coach Sayles, won the Invitational
Bowl in overtime against the Red Oak All Stars to put a cap on
a great first year.
· The A-division and Coach Sears, lead by example as the
senior squad should. The SR. Eagles shocked the league with victories
all season fighting for first place, and finally losing the semi-finals
championship game.
2002
Back Flying High
With over 80% of players returning the Eagles and their fans were
in for an outstanding second season. Experience players came to
front and took the first steps forward to a championship season.
· The Flag division and Coach Small, devastated the league
with brut strength and blazing speed which resulted in defeating
the mighty Duncanville Colts and capturing the Cotton Bowl Championship
Trophy in the last seconds of the game.
· The C-division and Coach Hargis, took a young group of
dedicated players and finished the season with a new record for
win and brought the Longhorn Bowl trophy to Arlington to end another
successful season C.H. Jaguars.
· The B-division and new Head Coach Manos turn a frustrating
season into a season of celebration and promise for the Eagles
as they brought home the Longhorn bowl Championship over the C.
H. Falcons.
· The A-division and Coach Sears, took a new group of seniors
with only one return player and lead them to runner-up champions
to the C.H. Rams of the Longhorn Bowl.
